How can I get my curly hair to look good when blown out?
| A:
It all depends on the hair cut, the curls have to be cut and angled accordingly, so you can have the option to wear your hair anyway you want.
When your hair is in healthy condition, you have more options in styling. To blow dry or flat iron your hair straight once in a while is a nice option.
Make sure you apply the Straight Time Glaze on wet hair to give thermal protection on your hair shaft and spray the Shaping Spray for long lasting hold. Christo also suggests that you use the Ozone Hair Dryer, which will leave your hair silkier and shinier.

My color looks faded 2 weeks after I leave the salon, why?
| A:
Most likely it is that your hair is dry from the inner layers called the cortex. Therefore, try using the Deep Therapy Masque as often as every week and after you color. The Curlisto Deep Therapy Masque is safe for color and you don’t need to apply heat.

| Q:

How can I get my curls to look shiny and healthy? It seems whatever I do it doesn’t work.
| A:
First you have to make sure your hair is in good/healthy condition and that means deep condition with the Deep Therapy Masque every week. Afterwards, consult with your stylist on which styling tools will be better for your texture and your curls. Also make sure you follow the right maintenance at home. Such as shampoo no more than 2 times a week but condition more if you prefer.

| Q:
Can I get my hair to look wavy without chemicals? I have very tight curls.
| A:
First of all, hair texture can not be changed from tight curls to wavy unless chemical work is involved. But here is a tip that can help temporarily loosen your curls. First follow our styling lessons for tight to kinky curly hair. After hair is dry, twist it very tight from root to end and clip the twist on the top of your hair. Leave it on for 10 minutes or more. After you undo the twist your hair will be transformed to less tight but loose wave curl until you have washed it. Enjoy.

| Q:
Do sulfates in shampoos really damage the hair?
| A:
Most shampoo’s carry some kind of sulfate in their formula. It can not be harmful for your hair or skin because that is the way we create formulas that work together. We don’t take one ingredient and use it on top of our hair. Actually it is an ingredient that helps keep your hair hydrated and your scalp healthy as well remove build ups from dirty interment that we leave these days. By using shampoos only without sulfate, unless you rotate with either cleanser shampoo or clarifying shampoo, you will end up with dull hair and buildups that can really ruin your color and ruin your hair in the long run. Remember always look for balance in life. Sometimes less is more but more is less.

| A:

| Q:
How often should I shampoo my hair?
| A:
As much as you need to. For example, for someone working who’s work space is clean; shampoo every 3 days. But condition as much as you like. If you are a chef or other professions that give your hair a lot of build up, a light shampooing daily is not a problem. Using Botanical Shampoo daily along with the Deep Therapy Masque once a week. Always try to balance the condition of your hair.

| Q:
Does shampooing damage hair?
| A:
No, unless you shampoo everyday with shampoo that’s not formulated for that purpose, only daily shampoo can be used that way and only for those people who have extensive oily scalp and hair. Otherwise shampoo every 3 to 4 days or as necessary according to individual life style.
