The Curlisto® Artistic Team designed the hair and makeup for this years Supima's Design Contest for Emerging Talent. The runway show showcased only the best designs, as determined by a panel of fashion experts and members of Supima. The live runway event was held at a prestigious venue in the middle of the Garment District.
May 9, 2008 Christo and the Curlisto® artistic team will be designing the hair and make up for a very special, exciting and interesting event hosted by the House of Diehl on Friday, May 9, 2008. Style Wars: The Battle Royal attracts designers from all over the country. In this final showdown designers create on the spot avant-guard outfits on the stage with unconventional raw materials. One of Christo’s greatest talents is to create dramatic and edgy hair designs, which is why he was chosen to be the artistic director of hair and makeup. March 11th & 12th, 2007 Christo was invited to teach 2 classes at this year International Beauty Show at the Jacob Javitz Center in NYC. Over 400 salon professionals attended and learned The Art of Curly Hair.
AWEsome Women November 2005
Christo invited some AWESome Women to his salon on November 7th to raise awareness on the HIV/AIDS Epidemic. It was hosted by actress Nia Long, television and radio personalities Melyssa Ford and Egypt, along with Olivia of G-Unit.
